The Checkvalve Stopper can be easily removed for cleaning. With the pump turned on, the force of the pump pushes open the Stopper to allow water to pass. When the pump is turned off, the Spring pushes the Stopper back down to the closed position.

Easy to open Cam Lock with Stainless Steel Levers. To open the CamLock, simply pull the Stainless Steel Levers towards the Male section of the CamLock.
With the Cam Lock Stainless Steel Levers in the "Open" position, the Male and Female Cam Lock parts easily separate.
In this photo on the left, the male part on the left side of the photo would be threaded into an Outlet Port of the HydroClean™ Pond Skimmer as shown in the photo below right. The rest of the Checkvalve is attached to the pump. This allows for easy pump removal from the pond skimmer.

All HydroClean™ Pond Skimmers have your choice of 3 Female Threaded Outlet Ports. Simply choose which of the Outlet Ports you wish to use, apply a small bead of Silicone Sealant (supplied with the skimmer) to the Male section of the CamLock, and thread it into the Outlet Port. Once the Male section is installed, simply attach the Female section of the CamLock to the Male section - you've just installed a pump and CVA inside a HydroClean™ Pond Skimmer! Quick. Easy. Simple.
The photos show how easy installing a Hydro Dynamax™ Pump installed inside a Piper HydroClean™ Pond Skimmer using a Custom CamLock Spring Checkvalve Assembly.
