Hydro-pondless Systems are THE Ultimate in pondless waterfall systems.
Easy to Clean.
Less Gravel. Easy to Install. Versatile.
Hydro-pondless waterfall systems by Russell Watergardens require much less gravel than "gravel-pit" type pondless waterfall systems, and are much more versatile than "tank" type pondless waterfall systems....
and EASIER TO CLEAN & KEEP CLEAN than both types! This diagram on the right shows how the components work together - and very little gravel is required!
This diagram on the left shows how the water disappears under a thin layer of gravel - becoming "pondless".
All the water is stored in the HydroChamber™ pump vault and HydroBlox™ water containment units. No water is visible - and very little gravel is required!
Russell Watergardens' Hydro-pondless waterfall systems are the only systems on the market that come standard with your choice of Hydro Vortex™ backwashable waterfall filter! Hydro-pondless waterfall systems are also the only system in the world with the optional HydroFlush™ Backwash System that lets your pump clean the filter for you!
If clean water and a clean pondless waterfall are important to you - and if you don't like hand cleaning "pad-&-media-bag" style waterfall filters - then the choice is clear - Hydro-pondless waterfalls by Russell Watergardens. Hydro-pondless waterfall systems are the EASIEST TO CLEAN pondless waterfall systems in the world.
With our Hydro-pondless systems....you can build beautiful, EASY TO CLEAN pondless waterfalls like the photo of the Original pondless waterfall above! The photo of our Original -Easy to Clean - Hydro-pondless waterfalls from our Flagship Store in Redmond, WA features the Marlin Series Hydro-pondless System. Russell Watergardens' Original Easy to Clean pondless waterfall has been seen around the world in various pondless waterfall kit catalogs, pondless waterfall promotional fliers, pondless waterfall banners, instructional "How to Build Pondless Waterfalls" videos and DVD's, and countless web sites promoting pondless waterfall kits.
When shopping for pondless waterfall or vanishing water kits or systems - make sure you know what you are getting. There are many "discount" pondless waterfall kits, and tank-type vanishing water systems on the market today that DON'T INCLUDE filters! "Waterfall starters" or "waterfall weirs" with or without a pad inside them are not "filters" - they are what they are....."waterfall weirs or starters". A water feature without a water filter? No filter = dirty water, dirty gravel, and dirty waterfall rocks. Dirty rocks and gravel = food source for lots of algae. Lots of algae = unhappy pondless waterfall owners.
Only Hydro-pondless waterfall systems from Russell Watergardens contain completely back-flushable Hydro Vortex™ filters with every system. A Hydro Vortex™ filter with your pondless waterfall system enables you to to keep your water clean and clear. Clean the waterfalls, rocks and streambed gravel simply by hosing them down into the Hydro Chamber™ and HydroBlox™ where the pump will then pump the soil, sediments, and debris to the Hydro Vortex™ filter. The filter will trap it all for a quick, simple, and easy manual backwash or ridiculously easy HydroFlush™ simply by turning a valve. Remember, after you purchase any type or brand of pondless waterfall kit - YOU'RE THE PERSON WHO HAS TO CLEAN IT.
Only Hydro-pondless Waterfall Systems, by Russell Watergardens, make it easy for you to clean the rocks and gravel, and water in your pondless waterfall feature!
Hydro-pondless waterfall systems by Russell Watergardens have been designed for super easy cleaning and maintenance to keep your water, gravel, and rocks clean which results in long term beauty and enjoyment. All pondless waterfall and vanishing water features are beautiful when first installed......the real question is how clean and beautiful will they remain over time? |
Let's look for a moment at types of water storage devices that may be included some pondless waterfall kits or vanishishing water kits. The typical pondless waterfall kit on the market today requires you to dig a large basin only to fill it back up with gravel! You'll need to add the cost of several yards (tons) of gravel to the cost of the pondless waterfall kit - not to mention all the extra labor required to dig the bigger hole in the ground and all the labor to fill it back up with gravel!
Other types of pondless waterfall kits contain expensive water storage tanks that can't be modified in shape to fit your specific application. And, due to their high tank costs - biofilters are not included with the system to keep the total price lower. A pondless waterfall kit without a biofilter results in dirtier water and it is much more difficult to keep the water, rocks, and gravel clean.
Hydro-pondless waterfall systems from Russell Watergardens include HydroBlox™ water storage units and Hydro Vortex™ biological waterfall filters with every system. Each HydroBlox™ holds 4.5 cubic feet of water (33.66 gallons), they're lightweight and easy to install. Since the pondless basin contains HydroBlox™, more water is held in a much smaller basin - and they can actually be placed underneath the streambed to make the water storage basin COMPLETELY INVISIBLE. This means less digging for you, less gravel costs, less labor, less back ache, less stress, and much less space.
Another thing to consider when comparing pondless waterfall kits or systems: What type of piping is included? Low cost - easily destroyed - "Kink-Free" tubing? Or, heavy duty, commercial grade Flexible PVC pipe? There is a reason why professional contractors always use Flexible PVC pipe instead of the low quality "Kink-Free" tubing. Flexible PVC is much stronger, more durable, and virtually indestructible for reliable performance and longevity. Cheaper "Kink-Free" tubing has a lower initial cost - but when you add the cost of repeated repair and eventual replacement - it has a much higher cost then heavy duty commercial grade Flexible PVC.
One more thing to consider when comparing pondless waterfall kits is how the pump gets connected to the plumbing. Think of this: no pump will last forever - so when the time comes to remove the pump.....how easily can you do so? Only Russell Watergardens Hydro-pondless systems include Cam-Lock Checkvalve Assemblies with every system. This is not only a back-flow preventer, but also a Cam-Lock union. To remove the pump - simply open the two Stainless Steel Cam-Lock levers - no tools are required! Quick and Simple.
Before you purchase any brand of pondless waterfall or vanishing water kit - make sure you compare more than just the price. You need to know what you're getting - and more importantly....what you're NOT getting.
