Remove the leaf net and filter brush rack or Stainless Steel filter basket (HydroSieve™).
The pump will flush the dirty water from the skimmer out the waste lines.
Rinse of the leaf net and filter brush rack.
Close the Hydro Vortex™ filter's drain valve - or turn the HydroBead Vortex™ filter's multiport valve back to "Filter".
Place the leaf net and filter brush rack (or Stainless Steel filter basket) back into the HydroClean™ pond skimmer or HydroSieve™.
Place the lid back on.
Total time: 2 minutes.

Weekly:
Backwash bio filter.
Remove any debris trapped in pond, stream, and waterfalls.
Turn the pump off, the open the Hydro Vortex™ filter's drain valve - or turn the HydroBead Vortex™ filter's multiport valve to "Backwash"
Turn the pump back on.
Turn HydroFlush™ Valve to the "Backwash" position.
When water exiting either filter's drain line runs clear - the filter is clean.
Turn the pump off, close the Hydro Vortex™ filter's drain line, turn the HydroFlush™ valve back to "Filter", or turn the HydroBead Vortex™ filter's multiport drain valve to "Rinse".
Turn the pump back on. The Hydro Vortex™ filter is finished.
For the HydroBead Vortex™ filter, when the water exiting the drain line runs clear in the "Rinse" position - turn the pump off, turn the Multiport valve to "Filter" - then turn the pump back on.
