Pondless Maintenance for Clean Water Features
Daily:
- Clean the HydroSieve™-PF pre-filter.
- Open the HydroSieve™-PF Lid.
- Lift out the Stainless Steel filter basket.
- Rinse the Stainless Steel filter basket.
- Place the Stainless Steel filter basket back into the HydroSieve™-PF.
- Place the lid back on the HydroSieve™-PF.
- Total time: 1 minute.
Weekly:
- Backwash the Hydro Vortex™ waterfall filter.
- Remove any debris trapped in pond, stream, and waterfalls.
- Turn the pump off, the open the Hydro Vortex™ filter's drain valve.
- Turn the pump back on.
- Turn HydroFlush™ Valve to the "Backwash" position.
- When water exiting the filter's drain line runs clear - the filter is clean.
- Turn the HydroFlush™valve back to the filter position.
- Total Time: 1 Minute.
