With the bead of Silicone Sealant applied to the inlet pipe next to the liner and rubber collar - fold the liner back over the HydroClean™ unit and inlet pipe.
Using a razor knife, cut a circular hole 1/2 the diameter of the inlet pipe's diameter in the liner in the center of the inlet pipe.
- Seagull and HydroSieve have 4" inlet pipes - the hole cut in the liner should be 2".
- Piper has a 6" inlet pipe - the hole cut in the liner should be 3".
- Pelican has a 10" inlet pipe - the hole cut in the liner should be 5".

When complete, the hole in the liner should look like the photo on the left.
Make sure there is at least 1½" of liner between the hole you cut, and the inside perimeter of the inlet pipe.
With the rubber collar loosely installed over the liner and the inlet pipe, Siliconed perimeter of the inlet pipe, 6" or more of liner slack below the inlet pipe, and a hole cut in the liner 1/2 the diameter of the inlet pipe - pull the rubber collar and liner toward the HydroClean™ unit's body over the bead of silicone.
The liner will "stretch" around the inlet pipe. Pull out any wrinkles in the liner between the inlet pipe and the rubber collar. The Silicone Sealant will create a water tight seal between the liner, rubber collar, and the inlet pipe.
Next, tighten the Stainless Steel Nut of the Stainless Steel hose clampm, wipe off any excess Silicone Sealant and you're done!
This is how the liner looks from the "pond's side". Very clean, professional - and Fish Safe!
