Cleaning Hydro Vortex™ Waterfall Filters
Here is how to clean a Hydro Vortex™ filter equipped with the HydroFlush™ Self-Cleaning Backwash System:
- Turn off the pump.
- Open the filter's drain valve and let the filter empty.
- Turn the HydroFlush™ Valve to the "Backwash" position.
- Turn the pump on and watch as the Froth Jet on top of the filter creates an oxygenating fountain effect that falls downward to rinse the filter and the Hydro FilterSilk™ media.
- When the water running out of the drain valve runs clear - the filter is clean!
- Close the drain valve.
- Turn the HydroFlush™ Valve back to the "Filter" position. You're done!
